Meet at the Cornell Cooperative Extension to see the gallery exhibit and pick up a map of forest installations including Portia Munson’s Fox Maze banner, Kirsten Bates ABC Bricks sculpture, Jenifer Wightman’s Transect bacteria painting, Brian Collier’s Bird Shift project and Matt Bua’s NoToMushMu site. Before the West was wild, however, it was being created in the mind of one of the Catskill Region's favorite sons, Ned Buntline, the most prolific dime novelist of the 19th century. Buntline wrote about Buffalo Bill and was the inventor of the Buntline Special.
